About Sensible Home Journal
---------------------------
Sensible Home Journal records and stores information in
database, in the form of disk files. You can store
these files anyplace on your disk that you choose.
There is online help with the program that you can use
if you have trouble getting started. We recommend that
you read the help when you are getting started with your
first database.
Backup Procedures
-----------------
Due to the irreplacable nature of the information that
is recorded in Sensible Home Journal, we recommend that
you back up your data regularly.
This will work best if you keep your journal files
under the size of a diskette each. This may be 360K,
720K, 1.2M, or 1,44M, depending on your diskette drive.
To make a backup of your journal database, you can use
the DOS copy command, to copy database files to diskettes.
If something happens to your hard disk copies of your
journal databases, you will have a backup to go back to.
Picture Files
-------------
Sensible Home Journal provided the ability to store
pictures or other external documents, and associate
them with journal entries. This most likely takes the
form of scanned-in photographs. We can also provide
scanning services at a reasonable cost if you would
like to have some photographs scanned. Contact us for
more information about scanning services.
Thank you again for choosing shareware. We hope you find
this program useful, and that it helps you store
important information that happens in your life.
